62. Develop and Implement an Advanced Project Management and Communications System

62.4.1 Develop and Implement a Project Management System
Provide a user friendly, cloud based, relational database type project management system integrated with an Advanced Communications System that provides those interested with methods to obtain the information they need and to convey that information to other individuals who need it while drastically reducing the need for countless email messages, twitters, web site browsing, etc.
The objectives of this plan include:
62.4.1 Develop and Implement a Project Management System. Provide a user friendly, cloud based, relational database type project management system to:
62.4.1.1 Help refine and implement the National, Washington DC and other cities', counties’ and states' movements and strategic plan.
62.4.1.2 Provide means by which individuals can easily find and volunteer to work on Actions that they are interested in and find other individuals working on the same item with whom they can network.
62.4.1.3 Prioritize, "sequence," schedule and coordinate the accomplishment of the thousands of tasks and sub-tasks necessary to implement the hundreds of Actions and the Individual Parallel Movements and Plans for city, county and state governments.
62.4.1.4 Ensure everything is covered, efforts not duplicated and unnecessary efforts avoided.
62.4.1.5 Measure progress
62.4.1.6 Provide means to ensure lessons learned are fed back into Actions, Movements and Plans.
Because the thousands of individuals accomplishing these tasks and sub tasks are scattered around the country, this project management system must be in the “Cloud”.
Currently the following are being experimented with Microsoft Project Online with Project Pro for Office 365 and Yammer. (Individuals with experience in systems such as these interested in helping, please contact Fisher@peoplenow.org, 703-725-7849.
